Andrew Grade received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York at Brockport in 1995, where his studies emphasized international business and marketing. Mr. Grade received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Willamette University School of Law in 1998. While at Willamette, Mr. Grade was a member of the law review and he is the co-author of "A Legislative History of the Oregon Constitution of 1857, Part 1 (Articles I and II), Willamette L. Rev, Vol. 37, No. 3 (2001). Mr. Grade is also the author of an article entitled "Does an Insurer's Use of In-House Counsel to Defend Constitute the Unauthorized Practice of Law?," Mealey's Litigation Report (Insurance Bad Faith), Vol. 13, No. 17 (2004).

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Grade practiced with two Portland area AV-rated defense firms where he worked in the areas of premises liability, product liability, construction law, insurance coverage, bad faith and general litigation. Mr. Grade’s practice currently emphasizes premises liability, personal injury, complex litigation, construction defect and insurance coverage, and he serves clients in Oregon, Washington, California and New York.
Mr. Grade is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Oregon, the State of Washington and the United States District Court for the District of Oregon. He is a member of the Multnomah County Bar Association, the Oregon State Bar Association and the Washington State Bar Association.
