Ms. Hillger received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with high
honors, in Political Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara
in 1991. Ms. Hillger subsequently attended McGeorge School of Law, and graduated
with distinction in 1995. While at McGeorge, Ms. Hillger was named “Best Comment
Staff Writer” for her work at the Pacific Law Journal, and her Comment article
was published at 25 Pac.L.J. 1387 (1994).

As a founding member of the firm, Ms. Hillger’s practice is
concentrated on real estate litigation (including landlord-tenant disputes),
premises liability, personal injury, construction defect litigation, and insurance litigation. She is the author of, “C.C.P. Section 998 Offers to Compromise and Recoverable
Costs: 10 Tips for Trial Attorneys”, San Francisco Barrister Law Journal
(January, 2001.)
As a result of her parents’ ownership and operation of a construction
company, Ms. Hillger’s interest in real property started when she was young.
(The company constructed residential and commercial property in Northern and
Southern California.) Also, Ms. Hillger has served as President and an Officer
of her Homeowners’ Association for the last six years. Ms. Hillger is also a
Director for a medical services company based in Alameda County, California. Ms.
Hillger’s interests include snow skiing, soccer, wine and enjoying the Bay
Area’s restaurants.
Ms. Hillger is a member of the California State Bar. She is
admitted to practice in all of the courts in the State of California. Ms. Hillger is also
qualified to perform Fee Dispute Arbitrations as established by the State Bar.
She currently volunteers her time adjudicating disputes between attorneys and
their clients, in coordination with the Alameda County Bar Association.
She is also a Barrister with the McFetridge chapter of the American Inns of
Court, where she continues her legal training side-by-side with the most
experienced judges and attorneys in San Francisco.
